Nice ride David ๐Ÿ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿผ

Time some of these guys who have recently passed come back for some extra rider road craft training?

A bright sunny day for a bright smile(he was smiling honest!) Brad W passed MOD 1 yesterday then today MOD 2. He was straight on the phone to organise insurance and collecting his new bike. Well done Brad cracking effort and attitude.
Come and show us the bike when out and about.
So we have 3 Wise Monkies!
Nick S Brad W and Jim B all with some cracking rides to complete their MOD 1
Excellent result guys. Thank you
Very busy last week just managing to get this in now.
On Tuesday Ben C completed his DAS course.
Well done and lets see the bike!
Martin S passed MOD 1 yesterday with no faults and today finished his A licence DAS course by passing MOD 2.
Well done buddy. Brilliant effort.

Snetterton, second race meeting ( very delayed report!) we were on the 200 circuit, again new to me and Jim, weather was dry and about 8 degrees. All set up on the Friday, my bike had been on the Dyno the Wednesday before and was running lovely, no sign of the gremlin that has plagued it so far. I had decided to put new dry tyres on front and rear. Saturday morning practice, Iโ€™m out first in practice session 2 ( Jim FP 4). I leave the holding area planning on scrubbing the tyres and learning the circuit, first left hander the front washes out, violently, no warning, and Iโ€™m introduced to the tarmac and the van of shame again. As Andy Bailey ( behind ) said โ€œit looked like my front tyre hit ice and I nearly ran you overโ€ Jim gets out in FP4 scrubbed dry tyres and has a good session. Qualifying next and again Jim gets out and is building knowledge, confidence and speed. Race 1 Saturday, Jim has a great battle and gets 5 place I wobble round (having had bike repaired and front scrubbed tyre put on) like a Novice trackdayer and get some points. Sunday, 2 races, its dry however ( weirdly you may think) Jim and I both opt to run full wets on the front, dry on the rear.....that really should not work..... Jim gets a cracking start and a SECOND place. My bike drops onto one cylinder after a lap and a half and I have to pull off circuit. Aaaagghhh....we trace the fault to a dodgy fuel injector....no spare so we think game over....but then Andy Bailey suggests a possible fix for the injector....it works...we think. So we are both out for the last race. Another cracking race from Jim and a fourth place, my bike runs ok for a lap or two then feels rough, not quite running on one so I circulate and get some points. So for Jim a 5,2 and 4, with some fantastic riding. Me 9,DNF and 8, a cracked rib and bashed up hand and confidence that needs re-building, Iโ€™m not a crasher!!! the big lesson is the Dunlop control tyres just do not like cold temperatures. Thanks to everyone who helps out especially Tony who with the patience of a saint sets to repairing a bike that I keep throwing at the scenery, all the other lads at the meeting and in particular Andy Taylor ( I owe you for the clutch lever and master cylinder) and Andy Bailey for; not running me over๐Ÿ˜€ the info on the injector and being awarded the bonnet of buffoonery ( for which I was in the firing line)๐Ÿ˜€ ...
